Effective Communication

Introduction

When you think of persuasion , you think of communication . Isn't that correct ?

Well , persuasion , sales , selling is very very very Crucial in our life . You can't live without it for a single day.So i am here to tell you how are you going to have a effective communication.

  1. First of all , i really want you to focus on your judgement and your own thoughts. For all i know , communication situation are different everytime everywhere.So , you need to rely on your judgement to evaluate the situation and react accordingly. For example , you don't want to praise a person in your team when in fact you are the one who is the leader of the team and the winning is largely because of you . Where else in other situation and other cultures , it is highly reccomendable to give your teammates a word of appreciation
  2. Secondly , we should trust our human instinct as effective communicator . It is a gift from God that we are blessed with an ability to communicate effectively because we human don't have natural ability to catch a prey or defend ourself from predator. Therefore , human need other human to form a group and eventually be triumphant among other animal.So , we should trust our own instinct . For instance , we may not articulate on how to tell a joke , but inside our heart we sometimes are good jokers but most people only jokes around their family and friends. The culprit is fear and we will need to deal with it in the next topic.
Technics
  1. Fills your mind with ideas . This is a technics that is useful for small talk (meaningless talk). Fill your mind with different ideas from various field so that you can find topics to talk about . It could be ideas from your experience or ideas you have just created. For example : you could talk a strangers about your star horoscope for one minute and your visit to the aquarium the next minute. Here is a tips , if the person who is your conversation partner is interested in your topic , elaborate more on your topic . Not sure how to elaborate ? Ask yourself What , When and Why or How .
  2. Do not be Afraid . Many people are afraid when they talk to people they don't like , to a crowd or to a stranger. Well , that's fine , I am afraid too . But the fact is , talking is just like writting in your essay , you need to use the correct words and have the "head part " , "body part " and the "tail part" to complete your conversation or in this case , writting essay as well. And then people will be satisfied with you if you delivered your message that way (3 parts) , just like the teacher who praises your essay when you are still studying in school.
  3. Do not oversmile . I know a lot of people who are not skilled communicator who believed in the power of smilling. They just smile all the while during the whole conversation with other. Well , guest what ! All the years of cartoon and movies business exposure have a effect on human mind too , they just think that people who smile for no obvious reason are a con-man or evil . Yes , the evil character in the movies always laugh . HA HA HA
